What I did on my summer vacation 2: Baseball Hall of Fame

I noticed that we're getting a bunch of DailyKos.com referrals today and I see it's because we've been linked along with the rest of the SBNation sites. Since DailyKos is a liberal blog, I figured I'd post the following picture of what else I did during my summer vacation this year, just to show that we're very open here at Gaslamp Ball and if you're a Padres fan and a liberal, you should bookmark us or something:

If you can't tell, that's a picture of me and Jon holding hands in front of the baseball scoreboard at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. I'm not sure why we're holding hands only that it was such a beautiful thing to be reviewing the scores while in front of the Hall that we had to take a moment and appreciate it together.

This isn't to scare away any of you conservatives out there either. We're conservative too. If you were to ask us if we were liberal or conservative, the answer would have to be to trade Phil Nevin for Matsui. And that's all there is to that.

Anyways, I don't want to start any debates here unless they're of a Padres related nature. Then, we love to debate. We heart talking Padres. Through the magic of the internet, here's visual evidence of one such debate:

As you can see, Jon and I have stopped holding hands and we've now gotten into a "glass half full" vs "glass half empty" debate. Jon, always the pessimist points to the previous evening's loss against the White Sox, while I point out that the Padres are still top of the standings. It got heated, and at one point, Jon threatened to throw the "Best Pals since '76" bracelet I gave to him into a nearby gutter. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed, and we returned to this:

I heart summer vacation.
