The Padres are getting a little closer to getting David Wells. According to the Boston Globe, the Wells deal is as good as done, once the teams can come to terms.
The price? Dave Roberts and a pitcher. Does Boomer have another 15 wins in him? Who will be the other pitcher? Seanez? Aki? What will the average age of the opening roster be? Will Boomer be a San Diegan in time for Thanksgiving?
So so many questions.
