I had a bunch of thoughts on this:
-First, it sucks because he'll miss the Dodgers series at Petco
-His second start would be vs the Marlins, which would be the 3rd time he's faced them this year.
-He will be on track to pitch on 8/4 vs the Dodgers in LA
-The rotation works out that when it comes back around to him after 8/4 that 8/9 is an off day and they could skip him and give him rest
-The following start would be on 8/14 (if he gets skipped) and that would be in SF and on Fox. If he isn't skipped he'll still face SF but on Sunday 8/15.
