The dude lying on the table
is Boomer...crankin' butts. He's lying there because his foot is too sore from the gout.

The Little Superstar is La Garra with his impressive and tricky 3/4 and sidearm moves. Claw is seeking Boomer's approval and gets it when Boomer shares his smoke with him in the end.

The kids are the Cardinals, staring in awe of the Little Superstar's skillz (note the 'z').

The woman is not really a woman, but Gilly in a dress. (No, really. Take a closer look. That really is Brian Giles in the video.) Anycraps, Giles scares the Cardinals away with his base-on-balls drawing prowess.

The little guy
is the man at the controls inside the robot who plays shortstop for the Padres.  He's demonstrating how other players "go through the motions".  The literal translation of the last lines in the clip are:

Sleezeball: Wow, going through the motions you were

LittleMan: Yes, that is how the others (we can infer he means the other SS) play, but not me, give me that bud...

Sleezeball: Ha ha ha ha

LittleMan: Ha ha ha ha
