Something to bring you joy... Baseball card art

At the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park, they're currently exhibiting a couple of pieces of baseball card art by LaVern Brock. Basically, they're baseball images made up entirely of baseball cards. Let me tell you that it's extremely impressive.

Take, for example, this image of Phil Nevin as portrayed in baseball cards:

Phil never looked so good.

Up close, it's especially awesome. Unfortunately, the only pieces they had on display were a Tony Gwynn jersey and a Cleveland Indians logo. Hopefully they'll get more pieces in soon. It's interesting to look at particular colors and try to figure what sets were used to make them.

See more at the artists' website.

hmmm
I really dont see the big deal about the baseball card "art"......I mean, I could easily do that. It's just arranging cards in the shape of a number.
