Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

Sean Burroughs

Looks like the Mariners signed Sean Burroughs to a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training. I hope he does well, he sure seemed to love playing baseball. I think he got a little screwed up outside the game, and brought his troubles to work. Hopefully they expect him to replace Beltre after they trade him to the Padres.

Don't think
this guy has any future in the game, except for a utility player. Way overrated coming out of the Padres system, but that seems to be the case with many young players for many teams.

Some are rushed to the big leagues in a hurry, and their talents are hyped, along the way -- and then they can't live up to their so-called 'promise.'

Then they press -- and usually, fail.
