Rookie Costume Hazing

Thanks to Gaslamp Baller sittingstill for sharing photos with us.

The pictures shown here are of Cla Meredith as Dorothy and Josh Barfield as a baby. I bet seeing Barfield like this made David Wells want to change his diaper as an involuntary reflex.

My costume for Halloween was going to be a scarecrow, but now it is "Brian Sweeney dressed as a scarecrow being hazed".

Someone should open a costume shop just for hazing purposes of sports teams and frats. I bet you could make a pretty penny with a niche business idea like this.

poor Cla...
I'm just waiting for the cease-and-desist order to come through.  ^_^

For what it's worth, there were several duplications between the Pirates and Padres rookies: both used the scary bus driver, sexy cop, sumo, and baby costumes, and I'm pretty sure the Pirates had a lady devil too.  I'd just love to know who gets assigned shopping duty!

These are great....
The difference in the two pics is amazing. Josh is laughing and playing it up. Cla looks like he just heard the words "Don't tell anyone where I touched you."
Let's have some fun out here! This game's fun, OK? Fun goddamnit.

In fairness...
There were a lot more folks there than might ordinarily have been expected since it was the same day Trevor set the saves record.  Josh came out first, alone, to bring his bag to the bus, so he played up the moment. :)  For the most part I took the photos of Cla with the zoom lens while they were standing in the garage, so he wasn't really interacting with the public.  He was smiling up a storm when they all came out, though.  (And that dress was really well cut to show off his tattoos!)

Clay in Fishnets
I love the pic you have of Clay in fishnets, even if it is the only one. If you notice, he is holding off someone to his left side. He was not successful. Right after this pic, as Clay got on the bus, Mr. Brian "Swings Both Ways" Giles grabbed his ass and gave him a little push onto the bus.

At the end, everyone was on the bus. Suddenly, out comes Baby Josh, he runs across the opening, grabs his binky off the ground and runs back onto the bus. CLASSIC!

The crowd was in hysterics the whole time.

oh dear...
Interesting.  If I'm not mistaken Giles grabbed his ass at the side of the bus, too.  I hope he's just got a thing for nurses!

Or maybe that's why Cla opted for the shorts...
