Gaslamp Exclusive: Meeting Tommy Lasorda

So I'm at the Coliseum in LA and who walks out of the Port-a-Potty?  Tommy Lasorda.  One of my friends yells:

"Hey Tommy! One or two???"

I almost yelled "Do you poo Dodger blue?"  But I thought that might be too crass to say to a legend of the game.

You never think that a Baseball Hall of Famer is going to walk out of a Port-a-Potty right in front of you.  Did he have to wait in the long line?  Did people give him cuts?  This was LA after all.  Doesn't he have box seats somewhere with a private bathroom?

Anyway I went over and shook his hand.  It wasn't until later that I realized that it was impossible for the man to wash his hands after coming out of the port-a-potty.  Gross!  Blech!  Is it a coincidence that several hours later I got sick and I've been sick ever since?  I think not!

How many Hall of Famers did you shake hands with on Saturday?  That was my question to everyone.  They would all say three, just to give me hell.  But they didn't meet three.

Maybe I'm a germaphobe, but seeing that guy shaking hands with someone who was just in a portapotty gave me the heebie jeebies.

So, hopefully you're not port-a-potty sick, just sick-friends sick.

I started getting sick
on the drive back from LA, so you are in the clear, but Lasorda is still a prime possibility

Curb your Enthusiasm
This sounds like an episode idea.

Jbox will forever hold a grudge against Lasorda.

Gross
Also, what's Lasorda doing shaking people's hands? He should've been like, "dude. I just got out of the porta potty. Maybe shake my hand later after I've had a chance to scrub with a wetnap."

As a Padre fan
You shoulda shook his hand, then said, 'Oh sorry, I haven't washed yet' and just made that Dodger man fear for the germs you just gave him.

Conspiracy-I say
First of all Tommy knew exactly what he was doing.  He was sticking it to the fans.  I am sure he was aware that he had not washed his hands.  What does he care?  It is not like you had gotten out of the porta potties and saw him standing in line and shook his had.  Question Jbox, were you where any SD gear? I know you had your USC shirt on but did anything give away that you were from SD?  I think Tommy knew you were from SD and they are testing a new type of virus they want to unleash on SD next year.  Remember last years strand was not harsh enough (remember when 6 padres had strep throat last year-we all thought it was Jakes fault but now the truth is being unleashed).  Tommy is the perfect candidate to distribute the new virus.  But let me tell you something once are a Dodger manager you are always a Dodger manager.  He is helping in his own way to handicap the Padres next season.  I tell you what LA we are ready for you; we have one of the finest medical cities in the country.
