Coming off their big win over the Dodgers, the Padres will try to keep it rolling tonight when they host the Reds at 7:10 pm PT. Veteran James Shields will get the ball for the Friars, pitching opposite Cincy's rookie southpaw, Cody Reed.
Shields hasn't pitched in a Major League Spring Training game since March 11th, but he pitched in a minor league game on the 16th while the rest of the team enjoyed their only off day of the Spring. The minor league stint kept him on schedule for his 2016 regular season debut on April 5th against the Dodgers.
