Baseball at the Alamodome? ~ Gonna get weird in here. twitter.com/FollowThePadre…

After closing out Spring Training in the Cactus League with a win yesterday, our Padres will now begin a two-game exhibition series at the Alamodome in San Antonio. This series will mark the first time Major League Baseball will ever be played at the Alamodome. In tonight's series opener, Eric Stults will make his final start before the regular season, when he will take up duty as the no. 3 starter. In Stults' last Spring Training start, he served up four runs to the Brewers in six innings of work. He did also collect four strikeouts and didn't allow any walks, but he still ended up with a 6.63 Spring ERA. Hopefully he will have better luck tonight against the Rangers and give us some more confidence going into the regular season.
Look forward to seeing Carlos Quentin in this series as well as he continues to prepare for the season. Tonight he'll bat in the three-hole as the designated hitter. Corey Brock has the rest up the lineup for us:
#Padres vs. #Rangers: Cabrera 6, Venable 9, Quentin 0, Alonso 3, Guzman 7, Gyorko 5, Hundley 2, Maybin 8, Amarista 4. Stults pitching.
