Seattle takes third game of series as Padres Spring record falls to 1-2.

Freddy Garcia got off to a rough start in his Cactus League debut today. In the first inning, he gave up a three-run bomb to his former teammate Raul Ibanez amidst five straight hits. Altogether, he gave up five runs (one unearned) on five hits and a hit batsman. Ibanez, Kyle Seager, and Robert Andino all went 2-for-3 against Padres pitching.

Reliever Fautino De Los Santos didn't have as much trouble on the mound, striking out three and allowing just one hit over two scoreless frames.

Cameron Maybin, who made his first Spring appearance today, hit an RBI single in the 4th to put San Diego on the board. Alexi Amarista and Yasmani Grandal also drove in runs, off the bench.

Casey Kelly, however, allowed Seattle to essentially put the game away when he gave up three runs on seven hits in just 1 2/3 innings out of the 'pen.

Seattle came out on top 8-3 to give them the series. WORST SEASON EVAR. (JK KTF)
