You’re right, I did play for some fun sports towns, and yet anyone who says San Diego fans are not passionate about sports was clearly not here in ’98 when the Padres went to the World Series. I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere. I was amazed at how crazy this town went, and can still remember the energy and noise at those playoff games that made the stands at the Q shake!
