A win today would get us back to a 2 1/2 game separation behind the Diamondbacks. Coming into this series, we were just 1 1/2 games back, so these last two losses have hurt us. But what this team has shown in the second half of the 2012 season is that it refuses to give up and it will battle its way back from anything. No more helping the Dbacks get closer to the Wild Card spot. No sweep today!
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
Lineups: It's like they're playing "Tag" in the outfield, but the person who is "it" sits out of the game. Today, Q is "it" and Cam is back in. He was hitting .423 with a home run, four RBI, and six runs scored in the seven games prior to this series, so hopefully his return to the lineup will boost our offense today. Everth is out today too, and Parrino will be playing short and hitting in the 8-spot while Deno leads off.
#Padres lineup 9/20:Denorfia 9, Forsythe 4, Headley 5, Grandal 2, Guzman 7, Alonso 3, Maybin 8, Parrino 6, Richard 1.
