Imagine if the whole season had been like these last few months. The Padres would probably have already won the World Series In September. Before the playoffs even start. That's how good they are. With each game they gain confidence and momentum. They're like a ball of muscles, body hair and spit tobacco rolling down hill, crushing their competition.

Logan Forsythe who was a hit away from the cycle last night broke the game open tonight. He and Alexi Amarista both drove in 2 runs a piece in the 4th. Try as he might Edinson Volquez couldn't give the game away even after walking six.

The Padres will finish the sweep of the Cardinals tomorrow. Kev will be there somewhere probably wearing a suit coat and criticizing the team.
