A few bits and pieces are starting to leak about the 2013 mlb schedule. The SF Chronicle is reporting that the Giants are going to NY in September to play both the Yankees and the Mets. Wow. Below is a link to the Giants blog and their take on this news.
Does anyone have any insight on the Padres 2013 schedule? Despite the league format changing to Interleague at any and all times (15 teams in each league), the approved trend of rotating divisions will stand. This means that the NL West and the AL East will match up in 2013. Will the Red Sox or Yankees come to PETCO? A home-and-home series with the mighty Blue Jays?

I for one can't wait to hear the details of the 2013 schedule. First off, I truly believe the Padres will be a better club from the start of the season. Secondly, with Interleague play throughout the season, I have more flexibility to see some interleague games instead of June when I sometimes leave for vacation. Fourth, how about beating up on those teams that ESPN drools over. Go Padres, NL WEST CHAMPS 2013
