The Padres have the day off before they face the hated Mariners tomorrow but four affiliates are in action tonight. The Fort Wayne Tin Caps are inactive due to the last day of the Midwest League All Star break. Here's what's on the slate:
San Antonio Missions v. Corpus Christi Hooks, 5:05pm: The Missions have lost their last two games and both in the 12th inning at that. Josh Geer gets the ball for San Antonio.
Eugene Emeralds @ Boise Hawks, 6:15pm: The 4-2 Ems look to go up 2-0 in their five game set versus the 1-5 Hawks. This series is the first of four in a two week road trip for Eugene.
Lake Elsinore Storm v. Lancaster JetHawks, 7:05pm: The Storm are at home for the first game back from their All Star break. If they win tonight, both teams will have identical 37-34 records.
Tucson Padres v. Las Vegas 51s, 7:05pm: Tucson is 2-1 since their ten game losing streak, so that's something. Jorge Reyes takes the hill for the Li'l Pads as they try to fight their way back up to .333.
Just as a reminder in case you forgot or didn't know in the first place, audio feeds are not only available but free for all Minor League games so you have no excuse not to follow along with at least one of these. What else are you going to do, watch basketball? Pfffffffft.
