If things had gone just a little bit differently, we'd be celebrating Andy Parrino as our SSSavior (you see what I did there?). But things went the way that they did and a Parrino error in the 6th opened up the floodgates for just long enough to get the Rockies the runs they'd need to take the getaway game.

And we had started so well.

Chase Headley, Yonder Alonso and Jesus Guzman went 6-11 in the 3-4-5 spot today, giving Carlos Quentin just the slightest bit of extra confidence that he's not going to be going into any battles without protection.

But it wasn't to be.

I wish we had a shortstop.

At least we won the series. We visit the Phillies next after tomorrow's off-day.

In worse news... Joe Wieland is going to the DL with some elbow issues.
