That was exactly the sort of game the Padres needed.

Cory Luebke, the ultimate road warrior held the Rockies to just one run run on 7 hits over 7 innings. He only walked one and struck out 4.

Chase Headley managed to hit himself 3 doubles on the day. Nick Hundley managed a nice 3 for 5 day with a double and 3 RBI.

So that was just nice, right?

I mean if it was me out there, all strung out and foul mouthed over the triple play yesterday, I would've been swinging wild at everything and looking to pick a fight.

Instead, Bud and the team kept cool and just took out their frustration on the Rockies. Very nice game.
