APRIL FOOLS! We play the Rangers today, not the Rockies! I GOT YOU GUYS SO GOOD!

It's our Padres' final day in Arizona for Spring Training before they come back home to Southern California and play spring training games at the Diamond in Lake Elsinore and at Petco Park. And then... IT'S OPENING DAY!!

The team heads to Surprise to take on the Rangers today. Cory Luebke, who, if you haven't heard yet, will begin the season as the number two starter, will take the mound today and is expected to pitch for four innings. Casey Kelly will follow up with another four innings and Ernesto Frieri will pitch the 9th. Andy Masur says we should expect to see our lineup go through a couple of times before Bud Black brings in the minor leaguers to play the remainder of the game.
