The Padres have a split squad schedule today, having to make up a game against the Rockies in Tucson that was rained out on Sunday.
Bud Black will be heading with the squad to Tucson, where it looks like mostly minor-league-level players are heading. With Andy Parrino and James Darnell as the only players in the starting lineup with any MLB experience, this is looking like a good chance for the younger players to try to impress Black, as well as get some playing time while they can. Casey Kelly will make the start and pitch five innings, with Dale Thayer scheduled for a couple innings and various minor league pitchers coming in to finish out the game.
#Padres at #Rockies (Tucson): Decker 8, Gyorko 5, Darnell 7, Clark 3, Grandal 2, Parrino 6, Galvez 4, Carroll 9, Kelly 1.

At home in Peoria, Cory Luebke will make his fourth start of the Spring. He has pitched well thus far and looks to start the regular season as a number 2 starter for the Padres. Huston Street, Alex Hinshaw, Luke Gregerson, and Matt Palmer are all scheduled for work out of the bullpen.
#Padres vs. #Indians: Maybin 8, Venable 9, Headley 5, Guzman 7, Alonso 3, Bartlett 6, Baker 2, Cabrera 4, Luebke 1.
