Buddy Black has been managing Major League Baseball in San Diego for 6 years. He even surprised many in 2010 when the team finished 90-72 after many picked them before the season to be cellar dwellers. However, he missed the playoffs just as he did in his first year with the club when they went 89-74 and lost a tie-break game with the Colorado Rockies. His detractors will wonder how you can keep making financial commitments to a manager that has had more losing seasons than winning ones.
