Padres Vs. Rockies Game Thread

Well, well, well. Looks like we've got ourselves a game to play. The Padres will take the field against the Rockies in search of a much needed win. Cory Luebke will be on the mound for us against Alex White. Some people say that there should have a theme for these Hail Mary, last-ditch effort game threads, but I don't. That takes work. That takes patience. I'd rather save up my energies for the game thread rather than the intro. Anyways, game time is here and it's time for a Padres win.

Go Padres!

I almost considered

Sacrificing the Padres game for college football.

If there wasn’t an open thread for the game.

Bolts from the Blue - General Manager: It is what it isn't

I had to post one

In hopes of victory.

Why ask a failed romance to come watch your successful one? You know, that's like inviting the Seattle Mariners to a World Series game. It's just weird for everyone.

I went to Trader Joe's today and bought dark chocolate-covered peanut butter wafer cookies

Haven’t opened the bag yet though.

25 years as a baseball fan and I'm still confused by the infield fly rule

33rd home run for Venable

Moves out of a tie for 41st place with Mark Loretta and Ed Spiezio to attain sole possession of that spot.
