Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

Spoiler Alert: He's not a fluke. He may not be quite as dominant if his walk rate goes back to 2010 levels, but he's the real deal. One thing I learned in this article is that a big difference in his results come from a switch to a 2-seam fastball from a 4-seamer.

Hasn't the sabermetrics crowd already established that Stauffer's no fluke?

The article implies that Stauffer, a first-round pick, never was much of a prospect,
ignores that he admitted shoulder problems when he signed, costing him a bundle,
and doesn’t even mention the shoulder surgery that wiped out his 2008 season.
Except for the switch from a 4-seam to 2-seam FB, the article says nothing, and
the headline is misleading. That’s disappointing, coming from HBT.
