Padres road trip to... Pittsburgh in August.

My buddies and I travel each summer to a ballpark. This year, we're going to the Padres Pirates game at PNC park Aug 5 - Aug 7. I'm a native Texas Rangers fan (you're welcome for Adrian Gonzalez. sorry he did not stay). and my buddies are White Sox and Brewers fans. So we usually cheer for the visitor's being visitors ourselves.
So we're wondering if there are going to be Padres fans in the area. Where should we stay? Does the Padres media guide have info on where the Padres team hotel will be? Thanks.

I think for security reasons
The team does not publicly state where their hotel is.
I stayed in the Days Inn Pittsburgh when I was there. Not the lap of luxury, but it was just across the Fort Pitt tunnel from the downtown area and they had someone made us waffles in the morning.
I loved Pittsburgh in the summertime. Great ballpark. Very nice downtown. Drink a Yuengling for me.

Minnesota and Boston were my road trips for the year
