honestly thats what im most excited about. Seeing will used primarily as defensive replacement for hawpe, or back up/platoon CF for Deno until Cam gets back.

They sent Venable down to work on getting his swing to where it should have been

I just don’t like seeing Denorfia out there every day as a starter. I think he is an excellent 4th OF, but a stretch as a starter and especially as a CF in Petco. Will has handled the job well before, and so long as Ludwick and Hawpe man the corners, then they really need a CF with range out there.

Not a knock on Ludwick, he has a cannon for an arm. Hawpe, on the other hand…
