Quieter at the ballpark?
Is it just me, or is there a lot less crap coming over the loudspeakers this year at the games? I kind of like it, makes the game feel much less artificial. Nice atmosphere on Monday night, we'll see how things go today - work event in section 122.

I believe you're right, fewer announcements and lower volume.
I’ll bet a lot of people complained about the volume.
Depends on what you mean
I’ve noticed the Churro vendors are louder than ever. And they won’t stop yelling. We get it, you’re hawking Churros… you don’t need to yell it every 5 feet.
hey guy
what do you have against churros?
I'm so high that they call me Your Highness
If you don't know me then pardon my shyness.
Nothing.
But I do have something against Churro vendors who yell more than once an aisle at the top of their lungs. There’s almost no one at the ballpark lady, the whole first deck knows you have churros. If we want one we’ll let you know. Now STFU and let us listen to the grass grow in peace.

I don't mind the music and the clapping stuff being lower
but the general PA announcements of players coming to bat was way low. So low that it was difficult to hear. It’s hard to cheer or boo a player if you don’t hear them getting announced.
I think it depends on where you sit
I sat in the upper deck for a game earlier this year and I was barely able to comprehend what the PA announcer was saying. I sat on the field level on Wednesday and the PA system was much louder.
On opening day I sat in the upper deck
and a mini-game package holder seated behind me actually called his ticket representative on his cell to complain about how quiet the PA announcer was. He was pretty annoyed about it and I agreed with him.
