The moment has arrived.  I've had enough of the extreme pain, the many many missed opportunities, the team's .214 batting AVG., the full blown lack of support for our brilliant pitching, the 172 team strikouts...the list could go on and on.

But I've really had enough of those damn SD-residing Phillies fans.  It's not lost on us that the Phillies swept us last year at the beginning of our infamous 10 game losing streak.  I've had enough.  I don't care who's pitching.  I don't care that a Cy Young award winner is facing Wade "6.87 ERA in AAA" LeBlanc.  This is all meaningless to me, and I am crazy enough to declare that the Padres must, and will win today!!!

It's Easter Sunday and it's time for the Pads' bats to be resurrected.  It's time for David to take down Goliath.  It's time for some divine intervention.

Hey Padres- there's no better way to get a strong boost of confidence than by taking down last year's Cy Young award winner.  Today is an opportunity.

I will not accept a 4-game sweep by those damn Phillies.  I will not accept a loss today.  The time is now, and this is officially declared a must win game.  I'll take it further and say the Pads will win today's game.

Begin the rallying cry, and get ready for a legendary Padres victory.  The season begins today.
