Tenth Inning Freeze-Out

Stay connected for news and updates

That title is my Bruce Springsteen reference for tonight.

Anyway, poor defense in the 10th inning led to the loss tonight.  First Orlando Hudson bobbled a ball that should have been a double play ball and then Chris Denorfia misses his cutoff man.

It was hard to tell on TV but if Denorfia hits the cutoff man then Soto would have been out by a mile at home, right?  Bob Scanlan said the something similar in Post Game and he probably had a better look at it.

Maybe we just blame it on the cold.
