Who is that, you ask? Well, he was one of the four pitchers that came over in the Jake Peavy trade. The whole haul was Aaron Poreda, Adam Russell, Dexter Carter and Clayton Richard. Now he is back with the ChiSox. With Adam Russell shipped off to the Rays in a package for Jason Bartlett, the Padres are down to two of the arms that they got for Jake and up a shortstop.
I kind of wish that we could have gotten something for Carter since he was still well-regarded by Baseball America, but In Jedi We Trust.
