KUSI's Michael Turko opened this file over a year ago when a downtown bridge project got way behind schedule. The completion date was moved back at least three times since then. But now Turko says it's just about done, and he's impressed!

Of course, now I’m not sure if I’ll ever use it. I got a parking package in the tailgate lot this season.
Is this the most exciting thing about Padres baseball 2011?
That would be a good poll question.
That being said, I am actually quite curious how we will look once the season starts. I fear this could be a 2007/2008 transition… where just missing the year before leads to a horrible meltdown, but hopefully not.

You know what is impressive?
Turko’s ponytail. It is a majestic sight. I saw it once at a Padres game where he was heckling Barry Bonds for the 1st 3 innings back in 07. And yes, he did yell “It ain’t right!” at least twice.
Why ask a failed romance to come watch your successful one? You know, that's like inviting the Seattle Mariners to a World Series game. It's just weird for everyone.
