Didn't see anything on other posts regarding the new uniforms. What are peoples opinions. Personally I did not have as much of a problem with the "sand" road uniforms as a lot of other people and even the players did. I say this because more often than not the Padres wore their blue alternates on the road a lot more than the "sand" unis. From what I understand this is per the starting pitcher (who makes the choice that day.) Therefore, not a lot of guys liked the "sand."

    The new greys look cool, I guess they will wear the road cap with them???? And no they really don't look like the Dodgers as many have pointed out in other places.

     New Sunday home digitized camo looks great. Apparently the jerseys are not available yet (been looking for them), but I think they will be pretty popular, particularly because the hat is really sweet. I pre-ordered one from Lids even before MLB shop started advertising them, and it is real nice, very unique.

     I know making a big deal about a teams uniform is kind of silly, and it all depends on how the team performs. But in a sense, uniforms are a historical log of a franchise, and helps to catagorize a time period or a trend, and is woth at least a minute or two of consideration.
