but I think Buddy needs to work with him to make sure he doesn’t create unnecessary distractions for himself. The blogs and media are always desperate for stories so they are going to make hay of anything they can find. I’m sure the SF media will be after him for a quote on this matter the first time the Padres visit SF and that can be a distraction. I don’t know if he’s the kind of kid who feels this way, but it could cause him to feel like he has to pitch a perfect game every time he faces them.
