I was hoping to get a gauge on what everyone believes the Padres opening day payroll will be in 2012. This is a measure of your faith in Moorad's statements, as well as a few other variables. I figure there has been quite a lot of discussion about the team's frugality with the latest news, so it'd be interesting to see how much everyone believes the owner:

Padres CEO Jeff Moorad said Tuesday that the Padres’ 2012 payroll “will start with a five,” with the eventual “resting place” over the next five years being $70 million.
