PrintLifetime Padres fan, long-time lurker, first time poster saying goodbye to GLB. Your passion and devotion to stats are good, but I grew tired of the smugness and inside jokes. These make it seem like a site for the editors and their long-time close friends. Nothing wrong with that, but I have to conclude that there's no place for me here. Keep doing your thing, good luck, and Go Padres. One day we will win it all.

I highly dislike all that stats stuff, but I stay here (for what, almost 2 years now?) because I am highly entertained. And stuff.
Take the 2009 Season for example. Entertainment + Crappy Team = Enjoyable Experience.
As someone who has been on GLB since 1865 BC and is "intimately familiar" with the editors, I approve of your leaving.
