From Tim Sullivan story on Signonsandiego.com:
Asked Monday if Baseball America’s Padres’ prospect ratings were a credit to new management or an indictment of the previous regime, Padres’ Assistant General Manager Jason McLeod said, “probably a little bit of both.”
“We got who we feel internally were very good prospects (from Boston),” McLeod said. “But you’ve got to take everything with a grain of salt. We all know that Baseball America likes ‘tools.’ The guys we got are all young and they all have tools.”
Let's hope our guys utilize their tools properly.
