Adrian Checking Out Early On Padres?
Adrian picked a real bad day to talk on one hand about how nice it would be to play in Chicago, and then deliver an unfocused, flatline performance on the field. If it’s coincidence, it’s a pretty sick one. -

Wow, Adrian.
Now you drop this on us, with 5 games left?!
I may have been disapointed that we probably are not going to make the postseason, but after reading that piece, i’m really mad!!
You want out, Gonzo? Fine, and don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out, pendejo.

that a way to cheer up your fans, Adrian.
All I gotta say is this great season better not leave us with a bad taste in our mouths.
And Adrian- if you don’t want to play for us, then get the hell out of here! It’s time to step-up with your leadership or sit a few days on the bench. I don’t care. You play to win or you don’t play at all.

I'm starting to feel
a very sinking feeling that a playoff berth might slip trough our hands but I’ll be damned if I stop believing right now. If Black opted for the best defensive combination in the outfield daily then I would feel a lot more comfortable

Thanks for giving me false hope
in that “growing up a Padre fan thing.” A Cub? Remember 1984, fcukface? Why would you ever want to put on that jersey? Maybe you guys should learn to hit sliders rather than talking to useless beat writer Gordon Wittenmyer who writes for the damn White Sox paper nonetheless. Can you at least pretend that you care, Mr. Arnold?

Miguel Tejada is quickly becoming my favorite Padre
I know a lot of people are pulling for us, because I feel that in the community. I know they are watching on television. I know it is not easy for many fans right now because of the economy and the costs, so they are watching on television.
But worrying about the crowd is not our job. We have to keep winning so there will be more games to see.
That last sentence says it all.
Ehhhh, I don't deserve a signature...

BRING MIGGY BACK NEXT YEAR.

We have a guy that just showed up a couple of months saying THAT....
…while a guy we’ve had in the organization for five seasons now has the fucking nerve to give a sloppy blowjob to the entire city of Chicago after another oh-fer with an embarrassingly bad error to boot. A guy that’s supposed to be a team leader. A guy that is supposed to be our star.
Please tell us more about how your shoulder injury has hampered your homerun total this year. Tell us more about the great fans in Chicago (yet another shot at San Diego attendance)….tell us more about the small ballpark (if you’re going to cry about Petco and least openly cry about it like Klesko and Nevin). Tell us more about the fantastic talent they have on the Cubs roster (aren’t they 13 games UNDER .500 and 16 1/2 games out?).
This team has lead the NL West almost the ENTIRE season…it’s all falling apart in the last seven games and you think now, RIGHT NOW, is a good time to tell some slapdick Chicago beat writer about your incredible interest in going to another team? A team that is standing in our way of a playoff spot?? Really?
What a dick. Jake Peavy all over again. Thanks for kicking us in the balls during an already shitty week.

I would argue that San Diego is no longer "America's Finest City"
if the entire city of Chicago gets a sloppy blowjob.

I've never entirely understood
all the love Adrian gets. He’s never seemed motivated, never seemed like he wants to be a Padre. He puts up fantastic numbers and he gets his share of praise for it. I’ve just never gotten the impression he wants to be here. Even from the start.
Oh internet, what a wicked web you weave.
