PrintThe Padres win again and move into a tie for both the West and the Wild Card. Crazy intense. Today's heroes included Heath Bell getting through a tough ninth, Chris Denorfia with the walk off double and Chase Headley, who can move from first to home with the best of them.
There were a bunch of Gaslamp Ballers at the game today and jbox and I decided to drop by even though we could only stay for a few minutes. I'll readily admit to you that the makeup for one of these types of get togethers would've had a more chicks as recently as 2 or 3 years ago. I don't know what happened to all the girls. Tons of dudes. All kinds of dudes.
I think it's because I moved away from blogging about the fantastic hair that the Padres had in those mid-oughts teams. I'm getting back to that.

Fun series. Was at the game last night. Oktoberfest was definitely way better than beerfest. Local breweries + padres win = good times. Crazy intense games are fun when we win. Were starting to get that magic back

I know the Reds losing sucks but go Padres. Seriously, the Reds’ dugout looks dead compared to the Padres. Also, we want the Padres winning the NL West. Best case scenario- them and the Braves take the final two spots. We wont be able to beat the Giants come playoff time, heck, barely beat em once during the season. -in_Votto_We_Trust
The last time I checked, the Reds barely beat us once this season too. It’s amazing how easily everyone just dismisses the Friar.

I was at the game yesterday! Oh well. I did see jbox in a montage though. Well at least I thought it was him. It was him in Stand up to Cancer tshirt and he was waving his hands around trying to dance. I
