The Padres are the best team in the majors and get totally ignored by the press.  As a tourist, I totally wish I could be in the presence of such greatness more often.  The Team that wasn't supposed to do anything this year has done a lot..and will continue to do so.  In the spirit of wanting to be more of a part of the fanbase, I'd like to request something. 

I'd like you to help me win this FanPost contest and I will gladly pander to any Gaslamper's request to secure your vote.

To quote The Black Keys, "I'll Be Your Man", with whatever you need done over the final games of the season. All I want in return is your recs on this post.  I plan to take that MLB gift card and buy a dozen of the ugliest Padres hats and hand them out randomly to bums.  Help me make this dream come true.

Update: Jbox reminded me this has to be about the Padres.  So, let me reiterate..I will trade my rooting interests to the Padres for the rest of the season.
