He will not get more than 200 at bats this year.
If he struggles for the first 100, that is a big deal. I understand it is an extremely small sample, but his contribution this year will be based on a 200 at bat sample. That is the gamble the goes goes with bringing in people at the deadline, there is no time to turn it around. I am not calling it a bad gamble, just pointing out how easy it is for the gamble to go bad.
