The Padres will be on Fox Saturday baseball throught the rest of the baseball season
Yesterday's loss to the Phillies on Fox Saturday Baseball was disappointing, mostly because we were on national television. The Padres will need to do a much better job of putting their best foot forward, because they're going to be on Fox Saturday Baseball mostly thought September and the last weekend series of the Regular Season in October.
I just looked at the online schedule, and most of the Saturday games in Sept. and Oct. (9/4 vs. Colorado, 9/11 vs. San Francisco, 9/25 vs. Cincinnati, and 10/2 at San Francisco) have all been changed from night games to afternoon affairs. This is what we've been wanting: for the rest of the baseball world to finally give us some attention, and now we've got it. I hope San Diego is ready for it.

The time change is probably for "potential" appearances on Fox.
I think they set the actual TV schedule 2 weeks in advance up to mid-September, and can make last minute changes the last two weeks of the season. Any way you slice it, no more 5:30 PM Saturday games at Petco. Gonna be tough for people who haven’t finished their summer tan yet.
