Padres lose again - Say it ain't so

Yeah, so I missed most of the game again.  I was at the Weezer concert at the Del Mar Fair Grounds. Good concert, bad traffic.

I just finished catching up on everything I missed on the DVR.  Kevin Correia was bleeding runs the entire game.  For a moment it looked like the Padres were going to come back and take the lead when they loaded the bases and scored 3 runs with no outs.  But then with the bases still loaded David Eckstein, Miguel Tejada and Adrian Gonzalez recorded three straight outs.

These games have been so long that the DVR turned off before Matt Stairs hit his record setting 21st pinch hit home run.

Maybe tomorrow. Go Padres!

Ok here's the plan for tomorrow.

Garland, shut ’em out for seven innings and then Buddy will bring in two stud relievers.

The rest of you, make a run. Maybe you Jerry.

I was at the track in the clubhouse sitting next to Weezer

and then I left and had dinner.

Also, its probably a poor idea to have our two most fly-ball pitchers throw back-to-back in a bandbox.

Ask any baseball player, any real baseball player. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.

Here are some park factors:

Well the fact that Petco is such an extreme pitchers makes it appear that Miller is a hitters paradise, but the Brewers credit to them have put together a team that takes advantage of their park, and the Padres with speed and defense put together a team that suits a pitchers paradise.

Um. Look at the link you posted.

Miller is 7th overall in terms of HRs. So yeah, its a HR park.

Actually

Here you go. But way to post a link about fantasy baseball.

No

Here are the 2 previous years: 2009 – 1.069, 2009 – .893 (22nd) They haven’t changed the fences or dimensions. Overall, its pretty neutral. Its not a “HR park” or a “bandbox.”

Not to stir more Giant hate but here we go

I love Giants fans already counting games…especially the 6 of last 7 bit.

Was at the game yesterday...

it seemed like the longest one of the season. I was hoping they would let Trevor attempt 599 to be nice to us. Didn’t happen.

Leaving to go get well oiled before buying tickets for today’s game. Two days, two Friar sightings. Still love the Miller Park though. Let’s fight through the suck, boys! Maybe all you.

Go Friar!

Even the kid from Easter Island can do one sit-up.

I think the plan should be...

not leaving eleventy million baserunners on :(

GO Padres, beat these drunks.

JEEZUZ!!! Have you ever considered setting your DVR to record for an hour or 2 after the scheduled completion? (Comes in handy for extra-inning or rain-delay games.)

I need to have my bilingual grand daughter

to call Cox for me to figure that out.

grand daughter and cox should never be in the same sentence…

Make her call, do not speak to the bilingual Cox representative yourself.

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔
