I was actually looking at the future schedule
And pretty much the only convenient way to do a GLB away game tweetup on a Friday for me is a game that starts after 6. This is the only such away game until September that I’m not also attending. Weird, huh? Why don’t we play western teams for weekend series’?
Anyway, I’ll have to figure out a Saturday.

James Darnell is apparently still suffering from a finger injury.
That probably helps explain why he’s struggled so much this year. Also Forsythe is improving defensively at 2B; both are pretty valuable prospects.

Also heard teams have been asking about ‘09 4th Rd. Keyvius Sampson. He’s 2-0 w/1.35 ERA, 32 K’s, 4 BB’s in 20 IP at Eugene.
One source told me other teams were thinking of drafting Jedd Gyorko as a catcher. W/ Forsythe there, wonders if #Padres might move him.
Also heard #Padres aren’t sure what’s wrong w/ Matt Antonelli, who’s still in pain after couple mos. after surgery. “Taking it really slow.”
