Headley and Uniforms
Alright, I'm not much of a fanpost writer, but I got two complaints/wonderings going on.
First is with Chase Headley. He's hitting very well against righties, not so good against lefties. Kinda sucks, right? He's a switch hitter though, so against righties he's batting left-handed and against lefties he's batting right handed.
Could it be he just sucks at switch hitting? What if he tried hitting left-handed against a left-handed pitcher? I know it doesn't meet the "matchup", but if you're a good hitter you can hit both left-and-right-handed pitching from only one side. When he gets good as just a left-handed batter, then he can go back to trying to hit from both sides.
I think it would be worth a shot.
Second deal is with the uniforms. I think they're fine, so no this isn't about needing to change them. I'm just griping that we don't keep the same uniforms for a long time. Having a set uniform creates respectability.....we're coming up on our 45th anniversary in a few years, and it seems like even now we're still struggling for respect. Other teams (even the sucky ones) have set uniforms that never change, but it seems like we're always trying to trot out some new ones. Other than trying to make people trying to buy new uniforms every year, by changing every 10 years or so we're looking less like rivals to the Yankees and more like the Flint Tropics.

funny how that works out.
I, TOO, was Naturally right handed and it wasnt till I was around 15 that started taking switch hitting more seriously, by the time I was 17 My left handed swing seemed to be far more more fluid than my right handed swing. I often talked to a lot of coaches and guys that used to instruct at JP Long ball about the ease I had with swinging left handed, and how it made me feel worse about my right handed swing, and most said it was really just mechanics. Its hard to change a swing once youve got all these years of muscle memory holding on to it. However, Headley, and its quite obvious, though he likes to say otherwise, is not a good hitter from the right side.

It's a little late to complain about uniform changes
They’ve been the same since Petco opened.
Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔

and IMHO they are really bland.
Sterile, even.

Disagree
I think that even if everytime the Padres step out of the dugout, they have on a new uniform… Who cares. Anything to make some money. If this team spends more money… Just look at our patential. Who likes pin stripes anyways
