PrintSo our Padres got rained out and that really sucks. This gives the disgusting Doyers another day to sit in our first place throne. I just hope they don't designate Manny as the official throne-sitter. Her water might break while she's on it and it'll just be a big mess, and no one wants to clean that up.
I want the Cardinals to win so badly that I would even consider not shouting obscenities every time Matt Holliday comes up to plate or a ball is hit towards him or just anytime he's seen or mentioned on the broadcast. Maybe I'll even write him a letter. It would go something like this:
Dear Matt Holliday,
I know we've had our disagreements in the past. But we're really counting on your team to win tonight, and since you are a part of that team I would like to extend a temporary truce. Just for tonight, if you could not suck, that would be fantastic. And in return, I will not bring up that awful night in 2007. We'll just tuck that away for tonight. Sound good? Alright.

He should be awarded them after the batter has been awarded his two, giving the runner third and home.
It’s stupid to count as awarding the runner 2nd base when it’s a double for the batter already.

If they have banned them from televised games (which I believe is an actual option for sanctions).
It’s good for college football though. Programs like USC horde players on the bench that would be talented starters elsewhere.
Clayton Richard would have been a stud college football QB if he hadn’t gone to Michigan who already had some of the top ranked high school QBs on the roster.
