Worried about Correia
So, our SP are amazing…
except for Correia.
His numbers look something like ERA 5.27, WHIP 1.44…
and his ERA has done nothing but climb over the past two months. On average he gives up (not including April) ~ 4 runs per game, and never goes more than 6 innings.
Anyone not worried about him? Wonko other stat people….?
Of course we're worried about him.
But until Stauffer gets back there aren’t other viable options.

They could start Gallagher and move KC to the pen.
But I doubt SG would be much better. But KC could be very valuable in the ’pen since he gives up most of his runs in the 5th & 6th innings.

we could d0 $13 million right? Or am I reading that wrong?
Also, the more ‘maturity’ attention Latos gets, the more I worry he’s going to do something stupid.
Oh internet, what a wicked web you weave.
Yeah... I love these links
Friar Forecast and Bill Center both write short 1 paragraph posts that say “Adrian is good”. And 2 posts on how Latos is mature. Its amazing that its newsworthy when a 22 year old pitcher covered in tattoos doesn’t do something stupid.

I agree
I understand it’s hard to cover a team and the same angles from the game are going to be covered by each outlet due to just sheer obviousness, but c’mon, vary it up a little!

Love this stat.
Latos has held opponents to four hits or fewer in six straight starts.

I used to play tennis a lot… how they can even still play…. their arms are going to fall off….
Are they still serving with any power?
holy crap, on a log (of course).
Surprisingly they are still serving with power
Neither of them is moving around terribly well though.

yeah just saw that
basically they are getting a lot of aces b/c the returner can’t react (move) in time to get to VERY gettable balls.

I'd love to see Cumberland and Castro in the Futures Game
But tickets for it are a little pricier than I thought they would be.
