I've found the best way to kill a two headed monster is to concentrate on chopping off one head at a time. Once you remove a head and stuff it in your collectible sack it is much easier to beat a weakened one-headed monster. In battle a monster with one head doesn't have anyone to bounce ideas off of and when you factor in embarrassment and blood loss, the whole situation in conducive to victory.

But, part of it is that the only prime time games here are MLS and the competition level there is nothing compared to the National teams or any of the top European leagues. If you watch an MLS game and then watch the UEFA knockout games, its like you are watching a different sport.

Also, at least in my situation, Time Warner just started broadcasting that channel in HD. I watch the Gold Cup on FSC before I had the HD version and it was really difficult to get past the poor broadcast quality fox puts out on its sports channels.

But did you watch any of the NHL finals? Man, those games were awesome. I haven’t been a real hockey fan since the Whalers left Hartford… but I honestly think that the Stanley Cup Finals would be the best championship to see in person of any sport. Including Super Bowl and World Series.

After the lockout
Hockey took steps to make the game tilted more to offense and the average viewer (i.e. Elimination of the two line pass, adding the shootout in the regular season) So 4-3 games like last night have really been boosting the NHL back up.
I have a theory
That it also helps the young players (and more specifically scorers) adjust to the league faster. That’s how a team like Chicago can get good so fast. Same goes for the LA Kings.
