The only thing I would want Towers back for
Would be as a special assistant in charge of finding bullpen arms.
Garland, Torrealba, Stairs, Jerry Hairston Jr, Scott Hairston, Denorfia…. the only guy who absolutely sucks in Stairs and Petco is a beast for anyone. Denorfia isn’t amazing, but he is solid bench / spot starter.
Getting Scotty back for (Rally Killer) Kouzmanoff, Signing Torrealba and Garland were all inspired moves… and I feel like Jerry has amazing D and REALLY HATES the Cardinals… which is nice.
So I don’t see this team being where it is, at all, without Jed and the moves he has made.

“Mujica sucks and should not be playing in the majors” theory that Wonko refused to agree with me on last night. If you have a pitcher who gives up a HR every 15 PA on the road over his career… he should not have a roster spot.
But I conceded victory to him last night considering I was on a natural high from getting back from a very nice date.
