Yep.

"I'm a Padre at heart. Always gonna root for the Padres. Twenty-five years [with this organization], how can't you? Next year I'm gonna be rooting like a son-of-a-gun for these guys and for Blackie ... I'm gonna be rooting for the next general manager here, rooting for the city, the fans, everybody. I think a lot of San Diego." -Kevin Towers

Does anyone have much faith in

CY’s future? I just don’t really think of him as a starter anymore. He’s like my new Mark Prior.

Oh internet, what a wicked web you weave.

It's sad. His arm/shoulder just completely fell apart.

Although, I guess no one should be surprised when this happens. The human arm was not really designed to whip around at 100 mph for thousands and thousands of repetitions.

But incredibly, some people can manage.

My first reaction was to say it’s his size….but Randy Johnson was just fine. I think some bodies just can’t adapt the same way.

It's kind of like how my car isn't designed to protect the driver

When it crashes at over 100 MPH and bursts into flames, but people survive.

No, I don't think you're an idiot. Please don't go trying to prove me wrong about that.

Wow, I'm soooo shocked!

CY hurt and/or sore still? Imagine that!

I just want to get paid to draw naked girls, is that so much to ask?

Didn't someone say a while ago

that this is part of the normal recovery process for an injury and surgery like his?

I said that (quoting Will Carroll)

About his previous set back. I haven’t heard from an expert on this new development though.

Its best we all pretend CY isn't part of the team anymore

and if he comes back pretend its another scrap-heap pickup that’s a blessing if it works out…

That's a good way to look at it.

I didn't even know he still had an arm.
