Enough of retiring #'s just to retire them.....

If the local media (radio) pushes for Peavys # to be retired here, I'm pushing for 2 other former Cy Young award winners (Perry and Davis) #'s to be retired as well. No to Peavys # ever being retired here.

Unretire Garvey's Number

Hold that spot for Hoffy’s #.

i dont think permanently

vizquel is wearing aparicios number in chicago now though.

i fully support putting #6 back into the mix. heck, if we cant have a no-hitter or cycle, we should at least set the precedent for unretiring a number (that never should have been retired in the first place)!

Who even wore 44 before Jake came along?

Wasn’t it Andy Ashby? If so, retire it for HIM and demand that Jake pay “back rent” for having worn it during his career.

The Padres are good, but make no mistake: we've gotta beef up the linwup.

If I had a nickel from every SBN blog that has banned me, Arrowhead Pride would owe me 5¢.
