I've given it 37 games, probably 33 to long, but I'm done with Enberg. Between his ever over exuberance towards the oppositions accomplishments to his constant history lessons of the Padres which as a life-long Padres fan I feel insulting. Today and all weekend it seemed he was rooting for the Dodgers, great call on the sweep there Dick, was just the "straw that broke the camels back". But the first occasion when I realized this guy didn't get it as a "PADRES" announcer was when he said: "I sure hope we see Trevor get in the game"...WHAT???...Dick that would mean that the Padres are down in the game and are on the verge of losing, which they did when he saved game 3 when the Brewerswere in town and he again expressed how delighted he was to see him get a save. HELLO, the Padres lost. I love Trevor, I will be there when they retire his number and erect his statue next to Tonys', I want him to get as many saves as possible this year and until he stops pitching, but I don't want him getting a save at the Padres expense. It's time for Dick to stop being a fan of the opponents and start being a Padres announcer or it's time for Padres management to fill that seat again with someone who gets it. I feel bad for Mud Cat.
